Hotel du Vin St Andrews is located overlooking the famous West Sands beach, a two minute walk from the R&A Clubhouse and First Tee on the Old Course.

Design Me carried out the full design of Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health systems for the refurbishment and extension of the old Golf Hotel.

A traditional stone and slate terrace building and right in the heart of the old town. The property was originally a prestigious family home, and has been sensitively converted into a stylish, boutique hotel. 22 rooms and suites with monsoon showers, sumptuous beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and all the little luxuries you would come to expect in a Hotel du Vin guest room.

The heart of the hotel is the bistro, serving the signature French bistro dishes with a home cooked style using seasonal, local produce. The bar and lounge area are adorned with charismatic art and comfortable seating providing a relaxed setting to share a bottle of wine, from the impressive wine list selected by the in-house Sommelier.

The impressive ballroom can accommodate up to 120 people for dinner will create a fitting stage for any meeting, event or wedding.

For a more intimate feel, the Macallan boardroom with seaviews creates an inspiring setting for a private dinner or small meeting. The favoured Ma Bells, neighbouring the hotel, maintains its place in the town’s long history, serving pub fayre, and a wide selection of wines, spirits and inspired cocktails.
